BOOKING REQUEST: if you are requesting weekend service, please book in advance, as booking hours are Mon - Fri, 9a-5p. Our availability is limited to the quantity of excellent providers on island. We will not compromise the quality of care, in order to accommodate more business. We do suggest at least 48/+ hours per single request.
SOMETHING TO KEEP IN MIND: The more specific the request (time sensitive, multiple days, continuity of care, age of caregiver, specialty care, etc), the more limited our availability.
We do have a x4h minimum and x3h starting at 5pm. Some additional fees can incur, depending on the request. Please see our rates section for more information. We will confirm any additional fees with you before booking.

Requested Dates + Times * Booking Start Times: For specific tours, there is usually a check in time 30-45 mins prior to your tour time. Be aware our island has ONE highway and traffic can delay a commute up to 20-30 minutes sometimes!

Bespoke Babysitting! With so much to see/do on Kauai, as well as the requisite relaxing, it can be overwhelming! The beauty of Aloha is going with the flow. Of course caring for your littles is not as two dimensional as a checklist! Tell us a little bit more so we can curate your time WITH you! If you don’t know your specific times and are willing to work around our sitters’ availability, this allows us to find the absolute best match for you!

Transition* So we can better prepare a smooth transition upon sitter arrival, do you anticipate any difficulty when parents leave?
Notes for Transition: Some families have shared success in priming the child(ren) for their new “fun-friend” coming and having the stroller packed prior to the sitter’s arrival. Once all particulars are covered, everyone leaves at the same time, so it’s not the “parents leaving the kids,” but each going on their own adventure! The sensory stimulation of being outdoors and the familiarity of the stroller help ease the baby into the new caregiver, without the visual prompt that their parents aren’t there. Win!
Special interests or favorite activities: Our sitters are highly engaging, playful, creative and fun! In preparation for enriched and creative engagement, as well as to redirect their attention as parents leave, what do(es) your child(ren)’s like to do/play with? To better prepare, please share anything which would be helpful!
ISLAND TIME Getting on island time means more than a grass skirt and a Mai Tai. You may already know it means the challenge of traveling with jet lagged kids who wake up at 1 am, ready to take on their (and your) day.

Adjusting to time difference Do you anticipate adjusting kiddo(s) to Hawaii time?
Psst! We have a secret! The time difference struggle is real! Some families have shared great success with slowly introducing a later bedtime, everyday, the few days before departure. This way, they’re only adjusting about x1h/day instead of (in some cases x6h) all in one day. This also helps them not wake up at 1am Hawaii time! Hope this family tip may assist in bringing you ease for your relaxation vacation!
Sleep Notes: Please describe any requisite comfort items (blanket, Paci, stuffy, etc), routines, sleep cues, prompts, (ie. darken the room, white noise machine on, sleep sack, etc) sleep training practices or tools.
Don’t forget if there’s a special lovie, stuffie, blankie, wubanub or paci used for comfort!
LITTLES (4y and younger)
Mobility for babies and toddlers: Please indicate their projected stage at time of travel or describe in the box marked, “Other."

Temperament when teething: If you know, you KNOW that teething can affect an entire family. All babies are different; some have little to no discomfort, while teething may induce fevers or earaches for others. Please specify the most relevant or describe in “Other."
